Some of what we loved and what we will miss about Rob... His generous spirit - his enthusiasm for a myriad of things - his love for Nevenka and for the lifestyle they had chosen together - his genuine interest in his fellow human beings - the phrase 'larger than life' could have been written just for him. We think he would have appreciated the sentiments in this poem by Joyce Grenfell 'If I should go before the rest of you, Break not a flower nor inscribe a stone.
