Poem For Rob (The little fat bastard wot skied - a.k.a. TLFBWS)
There was a man that I once knew
Though five foot seven, he grew and grew
So by the time he left this earth
He'd cast a shadow both tall and wide
Encompassing with a mighty sweep
All of us here left to weep
His friends and family he'd n'er neglect
If any favour they required
No mountain high enough (to ski down)
No river wide enough (to ford)
No challenge big enough for Rob Scothern to ignore
He left us with this legacy
His memory for us to keep
Don't weep for his life forshortened
Weep more for the chasms we still have to leap.
